How It All Started

FlippyTales began with journals. Supriya had discovered, as an adult, that journaling helped her make sense of things — the noise, the pressure, the moments when outer success felt completely disconnected from how she actually felt inside. And when she looked back, she realized she'd been doing versions of it since childhood, without knowing what to call it.

That led her to a question she couldn't put down: what if children had these tools from the very beginning — not later in life, when things are already harder and the habits are already formed? FlippyTales was her answer. First as journals and tools for children's emotional worlds. Then something else caught her eye.

While building the brand, Supriya spent a great deal of time inside the world of children's products — researching, designing, looking at what existed. And she kept noticing wall art that stopped her. Warm, considered, story-rich work with real characters in real scenes. The kind of art a child could look at every morning for years and still find something in.

She also kept noticing what didn't exist. In India, the choice was stark: licensed cartoon characters tied to whatever phase a child happened to be in, or mass-market prints that could have come from anywhere. Nothing in between. Nothing that felt genuinely chosen. The gap was too clear to ignore. So she built what she kept looking for — and couldn't find.

FlippyTales is led by husband–wife duo Supriya Rajawat and Anubhav Sood — a blend of heart, storytelling, strategy, and systems.

Supriya, the brain and heart behind the brand, crafts the emotional journeys, stories, and tools that help kids grow from within.

Anubhav brings the tech, operations, and financial backbone that turns that vision into a scalable, sustainable business.

Together, they’re building a modern kids’ brand that’s magical on the outside and deeply meaningful at its core.

Founder & Creative Director

Supriya Rajawat

Supriya spent eight years in fast-track corporate leadership, building strategy, managing teams, and holding AVP roles. Then she made a deliberate choice to step away. Not because the work was not meaningful, but because she had come to understand something clearly: outer success means nothing if your inner world is exhausted, confused, or running on autopilot.

That realisation became the foundation of FlippyTales. She had spent years thinking carefully about what children absorb, what shapes how they see themselves, and what stays with them long after childhood is over. The brand she built is an extension of that thinking — first journals, then wall art — designed from the ground up to put something genuinely worth choosing in front of children every day.

Today she curates every collection, holds the standard for what ships, and makes every creative call. Her test for what makes it through has not changed since the beginning. It never will.

Co-Founder & Director

Anubhav Sood

Anubhav is the operational and strategic backbone of FlippyTales. A computer science engineer turned MBA with a strong track record in regional sales leadership, he has managed high-value enterprise accounts across India and neighbouring markets for leading tech and networking companies, consistently exceeding targets, building partner ecosystems, and running complex sales cycles end to end.

At FlippyTales, he turns vision into a scalable, sustainable business. Anubhav oversees pricing, unit economics, vendor and supply-chain strategy, and day-to-day operations, making sure every product not only looks magical but also makes financial and strategic sense. With his background in game and app development plus deep experience in tech-driven sales, he brings a data-led, systems-focused approach to the brand—so FlippyTales can grow boldly while staying profitable, reliable, and ready to go global.
