Refund & Return Policy

We want you to love what arrives on your wall. Because each piece is made to order and framed for you, we don't offer change-of-mind returns — but if anything arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, we'll put it right with a free replacement. Here's exactly how that works.

1. All sales are final 

Every FlippyTales piece is produced to order and framed specifically for you, so we're not able to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, a change of plan, or a difference in how a colour looks on your screen versus on your wall. We mention this clearly up front so there are no surprises. The one exception is an item that arrives damaged, defective, or wrong — which we always make right (see Section 2).

2. Personalised items

Personalised prints are made to order with the exact name you enter, so they can't be returned or refunded for any reason other than arriving damaged, defective, or wrong. Please double-check the spelling before you pay — we produce them exactly as entered. If a personalised item does arrive damaged or incorrect, it's covered by our free-replacement promise just like everything else (see Section 3).

3. Damaged, defective, or wrong items — our free-replacement promise

This is the one case where we step in, every time. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, tell us within 24 hours of delivery at hello@flippytales.in with your order number and a clear photo of the item and its packaging. Once confirmed, we'll send a free replacement at no cost to you — no return shipping, no charge. This covers personalised items too. Our remedy in these cases is a replacement rather than a cash refund, so you still get the piece you ordered.

4. How to raise a replacement claim

Email hello@flippytales.in within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. We'll confirm and arrange your replacement — we'll guide you through every step.

5. Return shipping

For approved damage or defect claims, you won't need to pay anything — we simply send a free replacement, and in most cases you won't need to ship the original back to us at all. If we do need it returned, we arrange and cover that too.

6. Refunds

We resolve damage and defect claims with a free replacement rather than a refund. In the rare case where we're genuinely unable to replace an item (for example, a piece is permanently out of production), we'll issue a refund to your original payment method via Razorpay, initiated within 2–3 business days of approval and typically reflecting in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider. Outside of damage, defect, or a confirmed cancellation (Section 7), orders are not eligible for a refund.

7. Cancellations

Because every order goes into production soon after it's placed, cancellations are only possible before we begin producing your item. If you need to cancel, email hello@flippytales.in as soon as possible — if production hasn't started, we'll cancel and refund you in full to your original payment method. Once production has begun, an order can no longer be cancelled. Personalised orders, in particular, cannot be cancelled once production starts, as they're made uniquely for you.

8. Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits the rights available to you under India's consumer-protection laws.
